We collect personal data from our guests to fulfil the booking request and for payment purposes. We collect your name, surname, email address, telephone number and billing address if applicable. This data is stored locally on our website. After the booking is completed or cancelled this personal data is kept for accounting purposes. If your account is inactive for 6 months the data will be deleted.  We do not keep any banking or credit card information on our site. Credit card information is handled offsite by our payment provider and bookkeeper.

If you do a booking on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, telephone number and billing address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email provided by you on account creation.

If you register an account, the data are retained for one year. This is so you can view your recent bookings, manage your billing addresses and edit your password and account details

Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We do not send your data to any third party.

Credit card and/or banking information is handled off-site and cannot be accessed from this website nor keep any of it on our site.

Crocodilian Hotel & Restaurant is in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 18 years of age. Our website and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years old or older.

Your data is protected by your username and password over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. Brute force attack mitigation is in place. Our domain is also protected by various other security measures.
